Petey’s Pumpkin Patch: compare the family pass and pumpkin bundle
Petey’s lists a $65 pass for up to four people, or a $72 bundle that adds one family-size pumpkin. General entry is $17 per person, and children two and under are free. Choose the group ticket only after counting who actually needs paid admission.

Count the children before choosing the bundle
A toddler who gets in free can change which Petey’s ticket is cheapest. Before choosing the family pass, count the people who need paid entry and decide whether one shared pumpkin will be enough. Then you can spend the visit on the train, maze and play areas without doing ticket maths at the gate.

Do the small calculation first
For four full-price visitors, four $17 entries total $68. The $65 family pass saves $3. If your group includes a free toddler, do not assume that pass is cheaper than individual admission. The $72 pumpkin bundle adds $7 to the regular family pass and includes one family-size pumpkin. Those are calculations from the posted prices, not a special offer.
| Option | Posted price | Pumpkin included? |
|---|---|---|
| General admission | $17 each | No |
| Family pass, up to four | $65 | No |
| Family pumpkin bundle, up to four | $72 | One family-size pumpkin |

Leave room for the practical details
Prices include GST. Additional children on a family pass are listed at $14 each. The site says pumpkins range from $3 to $25, with specialty sizes at the top end. It accepts cash, debit and credit and says to buy at the gate rather than book online.
The benefit is a set of child-focused activities in one stop. The limit is that a pumpkin costs extra on ordinary admission, and a family ticket is not always the best choice for a small group. Opening times for your chosen date still need a fresh check. Call 604-792-8572 before travelling if the hours are unclear.

A children’s outing needs a different plan
The September Chilliwack fall discussion mixed adult scares with family farm ideas. Petey’s daytime attraction is the family choice at Fantasy Farms. It has a train, children’s corn maze, animals and play activities. Reapers is a separate scare attraction, so its ticket and age advice should not be applied to this visit.

The patch has a different feel from a bigger farm
In an October 9, 2026 Chilliwack comparison, a visitor who liked both Petey’s and Greendale described Petey’s as the more homey choice. They liked the large pumpkin selection, smaller corn maze and a mix of indoor and outdoor play. Their Greendale description put more weight on a big collection of activities and food choices. That distinction is more useful than declaring one farm best for every family. A child who mainly wants to choose a pumpkin may have a different good day from a child who wants to keep moving between play areas.
An October 2025 rainy-visit discussion also included Halloween mazes, alongside downtown shops and cafes. That older suggestion is a reminder to choose the activity first. Petey’s daytime family visit and a night of Reapers scares happen under the same Fantasy Farms name, but they should not become one assumed ticket or one assumed experience.

Two family examples before you pay
Two adults, one older child and a free toddler need three ordinary $17 tickets, or $51 in admission. In that example, a $65 family pass would cost $14 more. Four visitors who all need paid entry would pay $68 separately, so the family pass wins by $3. Do not count a free child as if they needed a full-price ticket just to make a bundle look cheaper.
The pumpkin bundle costs $7 more than the ordinary family pass. Compare that extra $7 with the pumpkin your family actually wants, using the posted $3 to $25 range. One included family-size pumpkin is useful if one is enough; it is not the same as every child choosing a separate pumpkin. Decide that before you reach the field, when everyone has found a different favourite.
